Greetings Opera Cocktales Fans, Friends and Family!
Well….here we are again! No, it isn’t February, but the difficulties of love and life resonate through our world, musical and otherwise! So much depends on our oh-so-human passions that swirl and whirl around everything we long for! Desire, whether libidinal or otherwise drives our actions and illusions more than anything else in this crazy world! Here at Opera Cocktales, we celebrate the vagaries of love and desire in it’s multitude of outcomes, whether for good, ill or so much that’s ‘somewhere we didn’t expect’ in-between channeled through our voices into glorious music – Yes, you guessed it, it’s Opera for us!!!
This months Opera Cocktales brings you scenes and meditations on love as well as few curious solutions composed by Kurt Weill (One touch of Venus), J. Offenbach (a doctor who creates the woman of his dreams – by building a mechanical doll) Verdi (a warrior pledging his love in spite of plunging into battle and near certain death), a reminiscence of past love by Poulenc (Les Chemins de l’amour!) and, And. AND!
Soooo….Why not JOIN US!
for an evening of musical love that shines light (and dark) upon our oh-so-human world.

(We promise you a performance worthy of that 2nd specialty martini!)

Sit back and relax with your favorite taste sensation from the Martuni’s cocktail (or mocktail) menu while we SING for you!
Now….I ask you…What could be better than that!!
