Yes, it’s that time of year again!

The holidays are upon us and with them arrive the attendant sounds, scents and expectations of our world! Whatever you celebrate and in whatever way, we at Opera Cocktales wish you a warm, welcoming season that fills your spirit with joy!

This year has brought many, many changes to our beloved First Wednesday of the month event at Martuni’s! We’ve had the privilege of welcoming many new artists, glorious, passionate singers as well as excellent collaborative pianists….As always, we are impressed with the extraordinary amount of gifted artists in the SF Bay area and are pleased to offer them a showcase for their talents. As a few of our beloved colleagues have had new, wonderful opportunities open up in their lives, we have had the pleasure of finding new performers!

This month we are more than a little excited to welcome pianist Elektra Schmidt to the piano bar for our December 6th concert! A talented, award winning soloist, chamber artist and producer, Elektra is a player to treasure – we couldn’t be more pleased to have her with us this coming Wednesday!

As our name implies, Opera Cocktales does Opera! Even during the holidays.
